The Woods Hole Film Festival season series WHFF Virtual kicks off with the return of WHFF alum Jay Craven’s new feature film, JACK LONDON’S MARTIN EDEN, including an online Q&A with Jay on Saturday, December 18 at 7pm EST.

ABOUT THE FILM:
Set in 1909 and produced on Nantucket, ”Jack London’s Martin Eden” tells the story of a poor and unschooled sailor, Martin Eden, who unexpectedly meets Ruth Morse, a magnetic young woman of means and education. Their unconventional attraction upends – and changes – both lives.

For the best community viewing experience, we recommend starting the film at 5:00 p.m. EST on Saturday, December 18 and then joining WHFF Executive Director Judy Laster and director Jay Craven for the Q&A on Zoom at 7:00 p.m. EST.

The film will be available to watch between Thursday, December 16 at 8am and Sunday, December 19 at midnight EST. If you purchase a ticket in advance you will receive an activation link to view the film via e-mail on Thursday morning, December 16th. If you purchase a ticket on or after December 16th you will receive a watch link immediately after your order confirmation. A free ticket to the virtual Q&A will be made available when you purchase your ticket. A separate access link for the Q&A will be e-mailed to you approximately one hour before the start of the event. Once you start playing the film you will have 48 hours to finish watching, or until midnight on Sunday, December 19, whichever comes first.

Note: Tickets will go off sale promptly at 9pm EST on Sunday, December 19.

Tickets are $14 per person, $20 per household ($12/17 respectively for Woods Hole Film Festival members) and are on sale now.
And remember, WHFF Members get a discount to all screenings. You can become a member at:
