Edward Gorey House Season Opening

The Edward Gorey House in Yarmouth Port opens for the season on April 8th with the 2021 exhibit Hapless Children (Drawings from Mr. Gorey’s Neighborhood) running through December 31st. Appointments are highly recommended, which can be made via email or telephone.

House visits require facemasks being worn at all times. Scheduled visits to the House at the top of the hour will start with an introductory talk, followed by a self-tour. Feel free to ask yourself as many difficult questions as you can handle.

The exhibit Hapless Children has moments that may not be suitable to children 6 and under, but you know your children. The Gashlycrumb Tinies Scavenger Hunt is in place for children and childish visitors. The House is accessible and photography is permitted within reason.
